The 2014 International year of family farming - Regional Dialogues

Family farming embodies a strategic pillar to achieve food security as well as the eradication of hunger and malnutrition in African countries. Despite their pivotal role, family farmers are still not considered enough from public policies. This affects and aggravates the land concentration, the displacement of families in the countryside as well as the low productivity and poor funding.

Food Security through Commercialization of Agriculture (FSCA)

Communication enables people to take ownership of their own development by making them aware of the various facets of real development problems in their region and of the challenges that have to be faced.
