  • Food security enhanced by climate change represents a global threat. There is a need to embrace a people-centred policy framework able to encourage local natural resource management and support rural people’s livelihood. Communication can play a pivotal role in the framework of climate change adaptation and food security.
  • Communication enables people to take ownership of their own development by making them aware of the various facets of real development problems in their region and of the challenges that have to be faced.
  • Participatory Video (PV) is a script-less video practice directed by a group of grassroots people. The process interweaves cycles of shooting and phases of reflective reviewing. PV wants to create video narratives that directly embody the voice of local communities.
